Here the nose is all but mute and only reluctantly offers up gorgeously complex notes of mineral reduction, green apple, lilac, honeysuckle, spice and discreet citrus nuances. There is a real sense of underlying tension to the ultra-pure; indeed the word crystalline come to mind, middle weight flavors that exhibit a driving minerality on the explosively persistent and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is a classically styled Perrières that's going to live for a very long time so patience absolutely required. In a word, brilliant. *Outstanding*
