2008 Domaine Leflaive, Meursault 1er Cru Sous le Dos d'Ane 750ml

The 2008 is much more expressive even at this youthful stage than the 2007. It gives aromas of warm apple tart, ripe nectarines, acacia honey and hazelnuts. The palate is more concentrated and fuller than the 2007 with lively acid and plenty of layers in the long finish. It’s drinking tantalisingly well right now though will reward cellaring.
